Mulangi Sambar (Radish Sambar)

Radishes are rich in ascorbic acid, folic acid, and potassium. They are a good source of vitamin B6, riboflavin, magnesium, copper, and calcium.

Cook Time : 30Mins
Ingredients:
Toor Dhal                1/2 Cup
Cumin Seeds           1tsp
Turmeric Powder      a pinch
Mulangi(Radish)      1/2
Small Onion             8Nos
Sambar Powder       2tbsp
Salt                         to taste
Asafoetida               2pinches
Shredded Coconut   2tbsp
Tamarind Paste        1tbsp
Coriander Leaves     5 Strands

For Tempering:
Mustard Seeds         1tbsp
Urad Dhal                1tbsp
Curry Leaves           2Strands
Red Chilli                 2

Preparation Method:
1.  Heat a Kadai with little oil and fry the Radish till the raw smells leaves.
2. Pressure cook all the ingredients for 3 whistles except Tamarind,Coconut and Coriander leaves.
3. Keep the cooker on the stove and add Tamarind and Shredded Coconut.Cook it for 3mins.
4. Add Coriander leaves and add the tempered items.
