Pudalangai Kuzhambu (Snake Gourd Curry)

Cook Time: 30Mins
Ingredients:
Pudalangai(Snake Gourd) Small    1no.
Channa Dhal                                 1/4 Cup
Sambar Powder                            1tsp
Salt                                               to taste
Onion                                            1/2no.
Grated Coconut                             1tbsp
Turmeric Powder                           a Pinch

For Tempering:
Oil                      1tbsp
Mustard Seeds    1tsp
Urad Dhal           1tsp
Curry Leaves      1Strand

Preparation Method:
1. Peel the skin of Pudalangai and cut it into small cubes.
2. Pressure cook Channa dhal with Turmeric Powder.
3. Heat a pan with Oil and saute Onion for few mins till it turns light brown color and then add the cut Pudalangai. Saute them for few mins.
4. Add salt and Sambar Powder and fry them till the raw smells leaves from the vegetable.
5. Add little water and let the vegetable cook.
6. Add Dhal and Grated Coconut to the vegetable.
7. Finally, do the tempering and add it to the mixture.

Some Tips:
1. Do not overcook the Channa Dhal.
